Comprised of both external and shareholder members, the Board of Directors upholds the professionalism and diverse leadership that will successfully guide Saulsbury Industries into the future.

Phillip Chambers
COO, Townsend Corporation
Phil Chambers serves as the President and Chief Operating Officer for Townsend Corporation. Townsend is a privately-held firm providing vegetation management, construction, and maintenance services to the electric utility and pipeline industries. The company is headquartered in Parker City, Indiana and provides services throughout the United States and internationally. Prior to joining Townsend, Phil worked in the financial services industry serving in executive positions including President and Chief Executive Officer for insurance, investment banking, and investment advisory firms providing services nationally. He is an Indiana native and a graduate of the Indiana University School of Business in Bloomington, IN.

C.R "Bubba" Saulsbury, Jr.
Senior Vice President – Business Development
Bubba Saulsbury serves as Senior VP of Business Development for Saulsbury. Having been with Saulsbury Industries for over 25 years, he oversees sales, marketing and public relations for the entire organization. Bubba is also involved in development of new business lines for Saulsbury. He is extensively involved in the communities of Odessa and Midland. In addition, he serves on the board of directors for Saulsbury.

Rick Graves
Chief Executive Officer
Rick Graves, President & CEO of Saulsbury Industries, oversees all its day-to-day operations and is based in the Odessa, TX office. Rick brings over 35 years of leadership experience in engineering, construction and field services. Prior to joining Saulsbury, Rick served as a Sr. Vice President for Fluor Corp. with oversight across multiple industry lines including fossil, nuclear, oil & gas, and mining. Rick has served on numerous boards including the Nuclear Energy Institute Advisory Board, National Center for Construction Education and Research (past chairman) and vice chair and President of the Women’s Business Council Southwest.

Donald McNeeley, Ph.D
Chief Executive Officer – Chicago Tube
and Iron Corporation

Donald McNeeley is the eldest of seven siblings from a traditional, Chicago, Irish, Catholic, working class family of modest financial means. He credits the experiences of his early years as his preparation for his current perspectives on leadership. He is President and Chief Operating Officer of Chicago Tube and Iron Corporation, a steel distribution and fabrication company headquartered in Chicago with ten subsidiaries throughout the United States.

Mark Saulsbury
Senior Vice President – Corporate Administration
Mark Saulsbury serves as Senior VP of Corporate Administration for the organization. Having been with Saulsbury for over 25 years, he previously led Saulsbury Electric Company, Ltd. Mark started his career in the field and possesses a wealth of practical construction knowledge. And this wisdom contributes greatly to the success of his current position. Mark also serves on the board of directors for Saulsbury.

Dianne Zugg
Manager, Community Relations
Dianne Saulsbury Zugg currently serves at the manager of Community Relations for Saulsbury and recently implemented Saulsbury's Community outreach program "Saulsbury Serves." She is the President of the Board of the Saulsbury Family Foundation and Chairman of the Saulsbury Family Council. Ms. Zugg has an inactive real estate license and was a member of the Odessa Board of Realtors for several years, serving on the MLS and Bylaws committees. She also served on a community-wide committee that successfully applied for Odessa to become a Certified Retirement Community. Ms. Zugg was previously on the board of The Crisis Center, serving as President in 2009. She is active in the community in a variety of philanthropic and mentoring capacities. She currently serves on a steering committee for a capital campaign for the West Texas Food Bank.

Matt Saulsbury
Vice President of Project Services
Matt serves as the Vice President of Project Services for Saulsbury. He has been a dedicated employee of Saulsbury Industries since 1993. He has experience in all areas of heavy industrial construction, project management, cost and progress tracking, estimating, scheduling and project controls. Matt also serves on the board of directors of Saulsbury.

Jack Schanck
Retired Energy Professional
Jack Schanck is a well-known and respected industry leader with over 35 years of experience as a geologist and manager in the United States, Canadian, and international oil and natural gas industries. Jack is the recent past President and Chief Executive Officer of Sonde Resources Corporation, a diversified global energy company engaged in the exploration and production of oil and natural gas and based in Alberta, Canada. The operations are located in western Canada, offshore Trinidad, and Tobago, North Africa.

Blake Young
Founder of Cap2ity Consulting Group
Blake Young is an accomplished executive who has led highly successful businesses and business transformations in energy, smart grid and technology sectors. He has served in numerous executive positions across various components of the energy value chain including exploration and production, refining, natural gas, power transmission and distribution, utility and energy commodity marketing and trading. He has been an energy sector CEO twice in his career. He was most recently President and Chief Executive Officer of Atlanta-based Comverge, a clean technology energy management company. One of the most successful IPOs in 2007, Comverge served thousands of residential and commercial and industrial customers providing a full suite of energy management hardware, software and services solutions. He led the privatization of Comverge in 2012.

Eric McCarthey served as the CEO of Shelty-Viking Capital Group LLC and past chair with Vistage International, the world’s largest private board facilitation organization. Eric recently joined the board of Interra International, one of the world's premier food importing and exporting firms operating across over 80 countries, as well as the board of Spar Group, a NYSE publicly traded company specializing in retail merchandising services and information technology. He is a retired Senior Corporate Officer, Change Catalyst and Operating/Commercial Executive in the global Coca-Cola system with 30 years’ operating experience across four continents.
